John is passionate about helping individuals overcome various struggles in life, particularly anxiety and depression, grief and loss, and problems in relationships with loved ones, friends, or colleagues. John also wants to assist those needing help with substance use issues and feels uniquely trained to do this based on his neuroscience background. Additionally, John wants to counsel individuals experiencing anxiety and depression associated with neurogenerative disorders and other illnesses.

Every person has a unique experience and different life story to tell. Therefore, John uses a variety of therapeutic approaches that are tailored to each individual and their needs. You can expect to have in-depth, non-judgmental conversations with John, as you identify your mental health challenges and work together to overcome them. Some approaches used are existential therapy, experiential art therapy, narrative therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and strength-based therapy.
